The ABCs of CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is all the rage these days in the therapy world. Many pediatricians recommend that their patients see a therapist for CBT, especially for depression and anxiety. Why is this so? Because it is an evidence based practice, meaning it is well-researched, and highly effective for many people. If you’re curious about what all the hype is about, come to our upcoming class to learn more about CBT. Learn about whether it could be helpful to your child or teenager-or even for us as adults. Learn a few tips and tricks you can use at home to manage feelings of sadness and worry. This class is relevant for parents with children of all ages and is helpful for adults too! Taught by Angela Dube, LMFT.

What we're about

Hey, nothing wrong with what our parents did - they raised us and we turned out all right. But we have to prepare our kids for a world our parents never dreamed of. And to do that, we're going to have to bone up on some advanced leadership skills, some 21st Century parenting tricks of the trade.
