Announcing a new Meetup for The San Diego Chinese Language Meetup Group!

What: Ping Pong at Balboa Park

When: December 6,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: 你 好!

Ping Pong and lunch on a winter Saturday. Meet for ping pong at the Balboa Park activity center. Then afterwards walk over to Balboa Park for lunch. That particular weekend coincides with the annual December Nights event at Balboa Park. There will be shows, food courts, etc. Museums are also free that evening in case you want to spend the entire day and wait for it. I'll be taking my motorhome down early in the morning (if not midnight) to get a good parking space and set up a base camp with picnic area so as to spend the entire day at the park with my kids. Qing lai! I also have a portable ping pong table for my motorhome to pass the time, games, BBQ etc. Just bring a folding chair and join in. There is also archery, and even swimming if you don't mind walking/biking a couple of miles to Morley Field (a good way to clean up w/ showers after sweaty ping pong). I'll set up the BBQ in the evening if you want to bring something to cook. I'll have an ice chest for soda but bring your own portable ice chest for any raw food items.

Be prepared to pay up to $5 for the ping pong. I don't know if that's per table or per person. Sometimes they don't collect but we should at least try to be honest. It's a great resource and we don't want to abuse it. As for lunch it varies. There is the El Prado restaurant and there will food stalls available near the fountain. Prices vary.

布麦特

ps: Badminton is closed that day for a volleyball tournament. Ping Pong will still open per their website.
