What we're about

Founded in 2006, we are the original corgi club of San Diego. Welcome aboard! Please note, occasionally, other group leaders copy our group's events, which can create confusion for newer members. So, to clarify, this is The San Diego Corgi Meetup, not the San Diego Corgi club. We also have a facebook page, so if you prefer that platform for getting information, please join us at https://www.facebook.com/groups/121768881175668. Make sure to answer BOTH questions and agree to the group rules. We look forward to meeting you!

Imagine 90 stubby corgis frolicking in the park or running thru the surf. Now imagine their owners laughing and discussing what makes them similar and what makes them separate personalities. That's what this meetup is all about. Come join us and just maybe you'll share a laugh or two while watching our big dogs with short legs play.

Our main Corgi Meetup happens once monthly, on the 4th Saturday of the month (with the occasional shift) We also have mini-meetups scheduled regularly, and any member can suggest a new Meetup. For about two hours, our corgis romp together, while us humans mingle. This is a great opportunity to bond with your corgi companion while practicing socialization skills and showing off your pride and joy!
We will be meeting at various venues around San Diego.

Please join us!

Valentine's Day Bark n' Brunch

Camp Run A Mutt San Marcos

• What we'll do
Camp Run A Mutt, usually closed on Sundays, has graciously opened their doors for us! Bring the corgis to come and play at this state of the art daycare and boarding facility. We'll have a Keurig for your coffee, tea or cocoa as well as breakfast pastries.
We'll have an opportunity drawing for some fun corgi items, so bring your dollars and good luck charm.

Entry cost is $10 per dog. Cash is preferred, as we cannot process credit cards.

• What to bring: Your corgi (or honorary corgi), your appetite, and cash for entry and the raffle.

  • February marks the 15th anniversary of Camp Run-A-Mutt. For the occasion, they will have a month-long food/supply drive for the Escondido Humane Society. There will be a barrel in the lobby to collect in-kind donations of food, pet accessories, beds, blankets etc... If you would like to bring anything I know they will appreciate it!
