Oshaberi Tuesdays!
英会話も日本語会話も練習できます!
(Curious about what this event is like? Click here to check out a member's video of one of our meetups at our original location!) (http://vimeo.com/7707406)
Please RSVP if you plan on coming so we know how many people to expect.
Every week, we get together for an informal session, where you can come to practice English or Japanese, socialize about culture, study, or just sit back and relax. All skill levels are welcome! New people show up every week, and we all have a great time. Please be sure to order some food and/or drink so we will continue to be welcomed there. Tell the cashier you are with Japanese Meetup and you'll receive 10% off your order (the discount is not available at the kiosks). You can accrue even more savings by registering your phone number.
Do not be discouraged from coming if you see a small number of RSVPs. There are many people who attend regularly and never RSVP (despite getting their hands slapped repeatedly for this). Typical attendance at these is 40 to 60 people.
About 20:00, those who wish to, go together to a nearby restaurant to grab some dinner. Usually this means Vietnamese, Chinese. Korean, or even Japanese food!
Note that this is not a dating meetup. Please refrain from engaging in any behavior that might make someone feel uncomfortable. Our purpose here is to share our love of Japanese culture, and we strive to make this a comfortable environment for all involved. If you feel someone is behaving in an inappropriate manner, please come talk to any of us organizers, or send me a message.
I hope you will join us! お待ちしております!
