What we’re about
Meet other San Francisco Bay Area dads! Stay-At-Home Dads, working dads, part-time at home dads, work from home dads, freelance dads, and involved fathers in and around the SF Bay Area to socialize and interact with other guys who enjoy spending quality time with their kids.
Our primary goal is to form an inclusive & active community of all fathers to take advantage of what the Bay Area has to offer. Organized meet up events are offered several times per week at a local park/playground, museum, playgym, children's venue, parent & me class, zoo, restaurant, or someone's playroom/living room. We aim to schedule and promote evening events as well without our children for a dads night out or educational workshops.
There are not enough resources, social outlets, support groups, or services for dads in San Francisco. This group is the pioneer in achieving more for dads in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area.

See all- Sunset Friday II - SF Dads at the SF ZooElinor Friend Playground, San Francisco, CA
After successful events last summer and this past July 12, let's return again to the SF Zoo for their super fun after-hours event for the whole family - Sunset Fridays! These happen 5-7pm at the Playfield Lawn and include live music (blues with Red Licorice on August 23), outdoor bars, kid-friendly activities, ambassador animals, and more.
Tickets are free for zoo members and children under 12. Non-member tickets are $12 for adults and children 12 & over. Reservations are not required - tickets can be purchased online or at the walk-up window. You can find all info at the link here: Sunset Fridays.
Let's meet in front of the Elinor Friend Playground at 5:30pm (bubble machine!). From there we can reserve a spot on the Playfield Lawn, or wander around the different exhibits and activities if kiddos feel more like doing that.
Updates will be posted in the comments section. If you have any questions, please post there too. And pro-tip: if you're driving, while there is a fee to park in the SF Zoo lot, there is usually free parking available on Sloat near 45th and 46th Avenues.
