Sandpoint/Sagle Neighborhood Emergency Communications - Third Sundays
For those interested in setting up emergency radio communications for our larger Sandpoint/Sagle community as well as here in our Hidden Valley Ranch neighborhood... We will learn about 2 way communications within the budget and beyond - covering scanner monitoring and low cost transceivers. Our hope is to get you out the door with knowledge to get your coms up and running for under $100. This meeting should get us all started with basic information to monitor emergency services, and the ability to implement an effective 2 way radio comm plan within and beyond your group. Comm points that may be covered -- given time constraints: Scanners, Transceivers, Antennas, Analog, Digital, HF, VHF, UHF, Frequencies, FRS, GMRS, MURS, SDR, DMR, DPMR, ADS-B. (Several of us are taking our HAM radio amateur license tests.) It is our intention that we have the capability to communicate with each other in the event that cell phone service or landline service or internet goes down in an emergency. Also discussed will be smartphone-based aps such as the one in development at Peacekeeper.org for neighbor to neighbor assistance for fire, burglary, medical emergencies. Feel free to bring a beverage and snack or desert to share - but don't worry about it.

What we're about

This Meet-up is for those who want to discuss and learn more about the truth of what really happened on 9/11/01 at the World Trade Center and the controlled demolition of the THREE WTC skyscrapers - and the implications of the events and ongoing cover-up. We are inspired by the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth - AE911Truth.org and are most pleased to have occasional visits by its founder Richard Gage, AIA
