What we're about

Update: we are temporarily on haitus during the pandemic. We hope to meet again soon. Stay well, everyone.

The Sandwich Squad meets every third Sunday at Mission Peak UU in the Cole Hall kitchen at 11:30 to make sandwiches for the homeless.

We typically make 100 or more sandwiches – meat and cheese or peanut butter and jelly – for the various Fremont organizations to give to the homeless. We are always looking for people to stop by and volunteer to make sandwiches, so if you would like to help out one or more Sundays, please drop by! Remember this is also a good service project for the kids!

If you cannot help make sandwiches, but would still like to help support this cause, you can leave a donation with us to help pay for the supplies (bread, mayo, meat, cheese, plastic sandwich bags, etc). We will have a donation box available.

Thank you to all our supporters! Everything you do to help make this project run helps those in need (whether it was donating, making sandwiches, opening a door, taking the sandwiches to the Tri City Volunteers, doing the shopping, or whatever else).
