What we're about

Hustlers for Humanity is a non-profit service team and social club. Our purpose is to make volunteering FUN and EASY, and to create a team environment around service in town. Our mission is to positively impact every resident of Santa Barbara by the year 2020.

HUSTLE means to PLAY FULL OUT. By playing together in the name of service and our community, we create a space for real change to happen in Santa Barbara.

Our goal is to have a lot of fun while we are making a difference in town. By connecting with our town through the causes we care about, we are not just living in Santa Barbara, we are shaping it.

Rotary fundraiser at Montecito YMCA / Rubber Duck Boat Race!

Montecito Family YMCA

Our friends with the Montecito Rotary Club have invited Hustlers to support their annual Rubber Duck Race at Montecito YMCA on SUN, June 2nd at 10am. This is a family friendly event that includes a rubber duck boat race in the pool that will help raise money to support the Montecito YMCA, local scholarships, and other Rotarian service projects. Volunteers are requested from 9am-1pm to support with setup, registration tables, helping with the Bounce House, and more. The event includes food, music, and games, and sounds like a fun time! Interested in volunteering? Our friend Matt from Rotary is the contact person. Reach out to him ASAP to get involved or get more details: [masked]

volunteer at EDC's annual benefit, Green & Blue

Rancho La Patera & Stow House

Environmental Defense Center is looking for volunteers to support its biggest annual fundraiser, Green & Blue. The event is SUN, June 2, from 2-6pm at the wonderful Stow House in Goleta. Lots of volunteers are needed throughout the event, and especially for setup + breakdown. This is a SUPER fun event that Hustlers has supported in the past. It raises lots of money to support EDC, who does really important work for the environment in the Central Coast. If you'd like to volunteer, please email Kaleena with EDC at [masked]. Check out the Green & Blue event page here: https://www.environmentaldefensecenter.org/gb/ There are other opportunities to support EDC this year, including their TGIF events. They are a great organization, and I recommend supporting them this year!
