New to Santa Barbara? Come find out about Joining the Santa Barbara Newcomers Club. A non-profit, volunteer-run social Club that's been helping people new to town make friends, explore Santa Barbara and have fun for over 60 years! If you've moved to Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Summerland, Montecito, or Goleta within the last 18 months, you are eligible to join the Club! Our club's 500+ members organize more than 50 events each month spanning a variety of activities for Newcomers of all ages- parties and get-togethers (including dining in, Cheers, TGIF, midweek social), outdoor life (including walking, hiking, golf, kayaking, cycling, sailing), shared interests (including gardening, performing arts, local heritage, food & wine), and service to the community.
