Santa Barbara R UseR Group May 2014 Meetup

Details
Our next R useR group meetup will be Wednesday, May 21st, at UCSB's Davidson Library. We'll be in Room 1575. Directions follow after the agenda.
Agenda
I'll going to step aside as a speaker since we have several others interested in talking (but I'm happy to talk about the snowfall package with anyone who is interested).
We have 4 speakers lined up for a series of short talks:
• Jim Regetz will talk about R functions and debugging.
• Stefan Gries will talk about text processing with regular expressions in R (this is a preview of his talk at useR 2014 in Los Angeles!).
• Ben Best will give a lightning talk about consuming online Google data tables from either spreadsheet, fusion table or big query sources.
• John MacCuish will talk about clustering with binary and count data.
Pizza and soft drinks will be provided. The talks will start around 6:30pm, but come by early to mingle.
Directions
We'll be in Davidson Library at UCSB, room 1575. I've attached a map provided by our host for the evening (Stephanie Tully, one of the UCSB librarians) to help you find the room.
For parking, lot 3 is the closest, with lot 12 the next closest. Parking will cost a few dollars for those of you not affiliated with UCSB. Here's a campus map:

Feel free to email me if you have any questions. See you next week!
