YogaWrite Yoga creates calm, quiet and focused minds which helps writers stoke their creativity, lessen their fear, and write the stories that they are meant to tell. Through gentle, restorative and heart-centered yoga postures, meditation, and breath work, these two-hour workshops will take you down a writing road you may never have traveled. And, a supportive, positive community will enable you to present our work with grace and ease. Beginners are encouraged to attend. A journal and pen will be provided or bring your own (laptops may also be brought but writing in a journal is encouraged). Yoga mats, bolsters, straps and eye pillows are provided but people are encouraged to bring their own mats.
Nancy Shobe, M.A., CYT500 founded YogaWrite, a subsidiary of Brain Flow LLC, as a way to free the creativity in the writers everywhere. In addition to being a certified yoga instructor since 2001, Nancy is also a published author, essayist, speaker, screenwriter, and journalist.
