This is a non-sparring, kung-fu class for those interested in Internal Chinese Martial Arts. Internal styles are those that focus on internal energy and body positioning over strength or force. While this is a very effective fighting style the focus of this class will be for health purposes. Students will be taught the martial use of each technique so that they have a more complete understanding of the movements used. This one hour class will include stretching time and 30-40 minutes of intense cardiovascular exercise. Taoist meditation and moving meditation techniques will also be taught.
