Walk West Cliff

Details

Wednesday is approaching fast, as is the weekly West Cliff Walk!

Let's meet at the Surfer Monument (= at the bronze surfer statue; NOT at the light house) for our round trip to Natural Bridges and back, which is about 4 to 4.5 miles long, and usually takes us about 1.5 hours. We try to walk at a rather fast pace (not fast enough for some, I know g) and achieve to be pretty fast on our feet most of the times. Usually, we don't dawdle or stroll along the cliff (unless we see exciting wildlife, of course). We're brisk walkers (or we try to be). :-)

If the pace is too fast for you or you don't want to walk the entire distance - no problem (REALLY!). Take a break on a bench, and we pick you up on our way back. Bring a friend, start out with us and walk at your own pace - we pick you up on the way back, too. :-)

Got carried away by the current winds? Already on vacation some place else? Have to go sailing instead? Questions? Please call or text me at 408.355.8870. Afraid to call because you don't know how to pronounce my name...? :-) No problem; it sounds like "Mycah".

Parking: Usually, Pelton Ave is an option, but the smaller side streets off West Cliff Drive closer to downtown are also good (e.g. Santa Cruz St, Monterey St, ...).

The Walk West Cliff-RSVP-Policy: Easy as pie...

If you want to come, please RSVP. It makes it so much easier to know for how many people we're waiting...

If you RSVP'ed and see that you cannot make it, please un-RSVP if possible so that we don't wait for you in vain.

If you RSVP'ed and don't show up (and don't get in touch afterwards)... Well, your loss.:-) Sometimes, this just happens. To ALL of us. But if it happens too often, you might end up being blocked.
