FREE! Learn to swing dance in a day and then dance the night away! No experience or partner required. Join our 505 swing dance community for free lessons and a free Halloween dance at St. John’s College on October 26th.
11 instructors, 9 lessons, 3 DJs, and an evening dance. Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Jitterbug, Charleston, Collegiate Shag, Balboa, and more!

# Swing Workshop and Dance
Come get a taste of swing dancing. Swing dancing can be either slow or really fast. On October 26th you will have access to all the instruction necessary to get started dancing today. You can look forward to some really great classes, awesome music, and plenty of social dancing.
This is a free event. We will however be accepting donations which will be going to everyone that is helping to put this great event on!

## About 505 Swing
The mission of 505 Swing is scene improvement and community building by marketing local classes, lessons, and dance events at no cost to organizers. This workshop and dance is simply an extension of our mission by providing an opportunity to everyone to promote swing dancing in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos by:
- Recruiting new dancers into the swing scene
- Encouraging intermediate dancers to grow beyond Jitterbug, East Coast, and West Coast into Collegiate Shag, Balboa, Charleston, Lindy Hop, etc.
- Getting local instructors access to new and experienced dancers alike
