Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Apache Kafka (But Were Afraid to Ask)
Apache Kafka continues to shine amongst the developer community as its adoption grows faster and strong. But does all developers fully understand how it works? This talk will give a fair intro into Kafka and answer common questions that every developer starting to learn Kafka asks -- commonly over channels like StackOverflow. If you ever wonder if increasing the number of partitions in a topic will make Kafka slower or not, this session is for you!
Fábio Silva, Consultor, Techrom.
Graduated in Computer Science at USP, Fabio has been developing for 10 years, with experience in several desktop, web and mobile frameworks. He worked at Banco Itaú-Unibanco, in the area of digital payments, and participated in projects that required the use of technologies such as Apache Kafka to increase performance and scalability.
