Really getting permaculture design

If you don't know about this course, please check out our web site or Facebook site about it. This is going to be a really unique, urban focused version of permaculture design. If you feel you don't quite have the tools to put it all together and really think with design, this course will help you achieve that. There will be lots of networking, plus career mentoring, apprenticeship opportunities and more. We want to come to both Orlando and Sarasota to help you create permaculture projects in your communities and replicate successful actions in Tampa Bay that have created several permaculture groups with hundreds of members in less than two years - these techniques are taught in the course.

There are a few people who have inquired about the course that couldn't pay full price up front and I wanted to let people know that we do have payment plans, work study, etc, on a case by case basis. We also decided to offer the first day free, so people who are not sure about taking the course can see what it's like. I wanted to let you know that even if you've studied permaculture on line or from books, you will get something substantial out of this course. There is nothing that replaces shared experience, hands on learning, covering the key fundamentals comprehensively and relating them all back to design, networking, examples that give you a deeper sense, and putting it all together in a design as these points are covered.

We are going to need dozens of competent, trained permaculture designers to make Florida a truly sustainable state, and we would like as many people as possible to take this course. It will be a memorable experience!

Cory
