What we’re about
We are all about dogs! The Sarasota-Bradenton area is a great place to be, especially if you have a dog. We'll meet with and without our dogs and explore dog-friendly places about town. If the group decides that they are interested in a particular doggie topic, we'll arrange for a guest speaker.
For tiny dogs 12 lbs and under, check out our Petite Pups PlayGroup Meetups.
Medium and larger dogs we have you covered at all other Meetups.
Mostly we just want to meet other dog folk in Sarasota and Bradenton and have fun!
Just a quick note about rules.
We always try to make our Meetups dog-friendly. However there are some classes offered and/or talks, when it is not appropriate to bring your dog. So, please, if you see a note that says humans only - please do not bring your dog.
Also! If you RSVP as YES to Meetup with limited availability and there is a waiting list - and you do not come, and do not change your RSVP to NO, more than twice - you will be removed from the group. We understand that things happen so we will not remove you unless this happens more than twice. But after that, it's not fair to other members who would like to attend the Meetup, but can't because it is full.
Also, just one more thing. Please do not use retractable leashes at SarasotaDog Meetups. Accidents can happen and we want every one to be safe!

You may have already visited Boo's Dog Bar? If not, you are in for a treat!
Boo's is hosting a party and we're all invited: Sunday, October 29th, 2-5PM. Bring your pup in costume (or not) for the festivities!
The themed event will feature goodie bags for the first 50 attendees, a canine costume contest with celebrity judges at 3pm, and a “pie”-eating contest just for the pups at 4pm. Party-goers will be able to snap photos in a fang-tastic Halloween photo area, creating spook-takular memories they will be thrilled to share. There will be more treats than tricks at this gathering for a tail-wagging good time.
All dogs attending must
--Pre-register with Boo’s confirming that your dog meets the following requirements:- Current Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP, and Bordetella vaccinations (proof required)
- Must be spayed or neutered (if over 9 months)
- Must be properly socialized for group play
--Purchase a Boo's Pack membership or day pass ($8) at the door

NOTE: Age 16+ in the off-leash dog parks. Children under 16 are welcome in the Tavern (indoor restaurant) and the outdoor Doggie Dining Deck, which overlooks the outdoor off-leash dog park.

There are ample places to sit, indoors and outdoors, and water on-hand for the pups. Boo's will offer a full menu from Chef Dave, formerly of Goodfella's Pizza. Beer, wine, and craft cocktails are available at the bar.
