The Olympics are here! What fun right? We will be having our own Olympic sized fun scrapbooking! (and maybe even stream some of the events while we do so! The event will be held at the Harrisonburg Hotel, formerly known as the Harrisonburg Holiday Inn. We will begin at 10am on Friday, and continue until 8PM on Sunday. Come and scrap one day, two days, or all three days. Commute from home or kick up your feet and stay the weekend at the hotel. Sassy Crops has been given a discounted rate on rooms to make the weekend more affordable. Lunch on Saturday MAY be included if attendance permits otherwise there are numerous quick serve, carryout, delivery and sit down restaurants within minutes of the hotel. Desert, coffee, and water will be included as well as healthy break out snacks.
Additional details-
-each participant will have their own 6" foot table to call their own while here
-wear your Americana attire for bonus tickets
-there will be Olympic themed (optional) contest
-each participant will receive a scrapbooking goody of some sort and a create and take project (this will be different from the Early Bird project)
-receive your very own copy of Close To My Heart's new Annual Idea Book!
-prizes and more! Early bird registration-
Those participants who register, and complete payment, by July 15th will receive a free "happy" product gift, 5 bonus tickets and an Early Bird Create and Take project. Participants who are not early birds may opt to do the Create and Take while supplies last, however there will be a $10 supply charge.
Cost for registration before July 15th: 1 day $35.00. 2 days $60.00. 3 days $95.00.
Cost for registration after July 15th: 1 day $40. 2 days $70.00. 3 days $105.00.
Invoices will be sent for registrations and may be paid on a secure website with a debit or credit card.
The fundraising element of this, and all of the Sassy Crops Summer Crop Series, will be Ride for Rylee. Rylee is a very special little girl who has many special needs and to make her life easier, her new forever family, have many needs -including renovating their home to accomodate her wheelchair, purchasing a van with a lift, and extensive medical finances. I will be sharing more of Rylee's story in the coming weeks.
