What we’re about
We are an active club that paddles whitewater and flat water in canoes and kayaks. Given our unique location and access to the Interstate roadways, we travel near and far in pursuit of our ultimate paddling adventure. We stress safety and learning new skills in paddling, and some trips may require specialized skills. We strive to let members know when special skills and or equipment are required.
This " Meetup Group" is used by members of the Saukenuk Paddlers Club to schedule events and share information. Dues are $20 dollars per year, dues payment options are cash or check with a completed membership form. There are additional charges to participate in club water related activities to cover liability insurance. Members must be ACA (American Canoe Association) members per event for $10 each or $40 for annual membership
Saukenuk membership is for 1 year, beginning January 1 each year. Dues paid after September each year are considered good for the following year. A new membership application is required every year. Existing and prospective new members may obtain a membership application by attending a club meeting. Club meetings are held the last Wednesday of every month EXCEPT November and December. Meeting location and time will be listed on the Meetup site.
The club emails a monthly newsletter with information of interest to club members. All trips and events will be listed on the Meetup site.
