Technology under the skin: stories that span genes, bodies, and brains

This week we have three amazing speakers that work at the boundary of health+wellness and technology. They each come at it from a different angle and using different tools but are all helping humanity through technology. We are excited to kick off the Sausalito tech meetup with such an interesting group of projects.

Speakers:

Leo Vandriel - Head of Engineering at RDMD - rdmd.com

Leo is a pro at taking new technology ideas to execution. At RDMD he builds technology that can bring together communities to accelerate the drug development process for rare diseases.

Kamila Staryga - VP of Product Flo Health - flo.health

Previously selected by the MIT Technology Review for their Innovators Under 35 list, Kamila is a serial innovator in the health space. At Flo, Kamila is leading an incredible product for women that is already improving health and health awareness around the work.

Iain Cameron McIntyre - CEO at HUMM - thinkhumm.com

Iain is the co-founder of HUMM, where he leads the development of a device that stimulates your brain. In doing so, they have shown about a 20% improvement in working memory and as a result, may change the very way you work and learn critical information.
