Talks

Reducing Noise in Anomaly Detection Models

We at Taboola built our own in-house anomaly detection framework, for detecting issues in critical metrics. Our framework contains hundreds of models, which sometimes become noisy. In order to minimize the number of false positives, we chose different strategies such as specific cutoffs, hyperparameter tuning and integration with internal information.

Gali Katz is a Senior Software Engineer at the Infrastructure Engineering Group at Taboola

High Throughput Distributed Rate Limiter

In this lecture, Naor Guetta, will tell us how they at Logz.io implemented a rate-limiting mechanism for the data sent by their customers. Considering the massive amount of data, and the dynamic number of instances consuming it, they had to keep a distributed state, while preserving very high performance.

Naor Guetta is a Technical Lead in the Infrastructure Monitoring group at Logz.io

See you there!
