What we're about

This scaling agile start-up group was created to provide a place to get together so that we can all learn and collaborate about a variety of methods for implementing lean|agile methods in large enterprises--including but not limited to: Kanban, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), DaD (Disciplined agile Delivery), Lean Start-up methodologies, as well as related Agile Methodologies and practices such as XP and FDD (Feature Driven Development).

As a group, we will look at how these methods relate to business model innovation, service design, quality driven product development, design strategy, and visual strategy among others.

As a Lean Community built on an Agile foundation our goal is to learn and understand tools, learning, and collaborate experiences among the entire group.

Members should expect to discuss different obstacles and impacts of Scaling Agile and implementing Lean-Thinking at large enterprise levels. This group will provide the skills and knowledge on how to adapt throughout the Agile and Lean transformation.

This group is made up of entrepreneurs, executives, product managers, software developers, established businesses, start-ups as well as large corporate institutions. So bring your Systems Thinking and Lean Startup thoughts along. Be prepared to collaborate, share your questions, ideas, opinions and goals.

Agile Lunch Bunch @TBD

Needs a location

Agenda begins with optional Lightning Talk "Openers" before moving into Lean Coffee format. If you want to propose a Lightning Talk, feel go with the standard Agile Alliance conference format of 3 min slideless, 5 slides in 5 min, or 7 min Pecha Kucha (20 slides, 20 sec). Then we'll shift to an adapted Lean Coffee format (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhG-A-kRPAU) so come load our backlog with your interests, questions, and ideas. We've had great feedback on how the ensuing dialogue will really get a feel for the "pulse" of the Atlanta Agile community. Consistently strong engagement and interactions have sparked our learning. Lunch will be provided! Please keep the input on how to best optimize and evolve the dialogue! See you all there! Rob Phillips (678)[masked]
