This Group is for those Dance and Fitness enthusiasts in Scarborough who are looking for more individualized dance and fitness instruction that smaller class sizes will provide. Also, for some of our activities like Latin Dances ( Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba ), Calisthenics and Belly Dance, Scarberians no longer have to travel far for quality instruction.

Some of our activities include… Dance instruction in Salsa, Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Dance Socials, Belly Dance, Ballroom, Zumba, Socacize, Bootcamps, YOGA, Cardio Kickboxing, and Reggaecise.

We will work out using various training techniques including H.I.I.T. ( high intensity interval training ), circuit training and other effective methods. This is great training to help you reach your fitness goals. ( Personal training also available ) wear comfortable clothes and running shoes If it's your first time, please come a few minutes early to register. Remember to wear comfortable clothes and bring a YOGA mat ( for first timers, when you purchase one class, you get a credit to another class free. Bollywood Dance

The word Bollywood is a combination of two words: Bombay and Hollywood. Bollywood dance originated in India and can be very elaborate. The music has a great rhythm to dance to. This dance is a mixture of numerous styles that also cross cultures. Belly-dancing, Kathak, Arabic, Latin forms, Indian folk, Western dance like Disco and Hip Hop are only some of the styles that it includes. These very energetic and exciting dance moves can be learned and performed by anyone. Our studio is thrilled to be offering Bollywood dance in Scarborough with instructor Shalvi Thakkar! Shalvi is a choreographer who has been trained in various dance styles. She has been classically trained in kathak, also she very well knows Bollywood dance style as she has been teaching and performing for almost 7 years. She also has a good knowledge of Indian Folk Dance called Garba. She will be teaching Bollywood Dance which involves a variety of dance forms. Come join us and be a flawless with your moves.
