What we're about

For me there is something primitively soothing about this music, and it went straight to my nervous system, making me feel ten feet tall. - Eric Clapton

If you don't know the blues... there's no point in picking up the guitar and playing rock and roll or any other form of popular music. – Keith Richards

Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel. – Jimi Hendrix

I've said that playing the blues is like having to be black twice. Stevie Ray Vaughan missed on both counts, but I never noticed. – B. B. King

LONGER SESSIONS, LIMITED SIZE, MORE INSTRUCTION, $25

We will conduct our Littleton School of Blues on Sunday or every other Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. We will skip holidays. Longer sessions, limited people, more instruction and a little more money.

Our school will be unique in that we will jam with other blues enthusiasts but also learn new tips and techniques for playing and singing the blues. But mostly it will be fun!

We welcome beginners and intermediate players as well as advanced ones. If you play drums or bass, please contact us for special arrangements.

All you need to bring is your instrument and small amp. Contact us for more information about what to bring.

Our Littleton cost is only $25 per session with no commitment or contract. It will be longer – 2 and1/2 hours and include more instruction as well as jam time. We will study and practice great blue licks, chords and strumming patterns. We are limiting these sessions for more individual instruction time. We hope you come and stay.

Please RSVP on this site if you plan to attend. You will need to RSVP for us to have a seat for you. And please, if you can’t make it, cancel your RSVP by the day before, so we can open the session to others.

Our SoB bands – the Blues Kings and the Blues Masters – are up and running and are extensions of the school. Bands are for everyone attending the Sunday sessions and wanting more playing time especially in front of audiences.
