What we're about

This is a group for anyone involved, or highly interested in science communication in Belgium.

We want to build a local community of professional science communicators with the purpose to learn, share, get inspired and have fun. We plan to meet a couple of times a year in alternating locations.

So if you're passionate about science communication, in any shape or form (written, visual, events - for the broader scientific community, interest groups, policy makers or the general public), please do join in!

Meet up for 'focus day on science communication'

Mug Brussels

The Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO), the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts (KVAB), de Jonge Academie (JA) and the Department of Economy, Science and Innovation (Departement EWI) are organizing a focus day on science communication. You can find the program and register for the event here: https://www.fwo.be/nl/actueel/nieuws/building-bridges-focus-day-on-science-communication-18-november-2019/ If any other members of this meetup group plan to attend, it would be great to meet in person and get to know each other. For those of us that can make it: let's meet up for a morning coffee at MUG (on the way from Brussels Central station to the event's location, the Palace of the Academies). I'll be there by 8.30, please stop by if you can. If not, hopefully meet you later during the day.
