Meet at THE LAB - Arduino Basics
Meet us at "The Lab" in Arvada and build with Arduino and learn the Basics of programming it and using the Breadboard. Alternatively learn about 3D printing or just hang out and check out "The Lab". Also, between 1-2pm the owner of "The Lab" offers a free class called "Electronic Circuit Troubleshooting". Check out their website for details: http://thelabdenver.org As always, expect a fun filled 3 hours of exploring and sharing ideas around computers, 3D printing, programming, little electronic projects, making artsy crafty things, sewing, painting and hanging out with great people! If you're unsure and don't want to commit as a first timer just swing by and check it out for free!!! For regular members please bring the mandatory drop in fee to use the space of $10 and any applicable costs for materials (don't worry about this if you're new to the group though!) Hope to see you there!

What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in science, computer, technology and more! All skill levels and ages are welcome.
I started this group to create a space where kids and adults can explore and experiment with computers and technology in an informal, friendly and fun way. It really is about community and connection. We work on either little projects or just hang out and share thoughts, ideas and knowledge.
We will meet at a place called "The Lab - A Denver Makerspace" in Arvada (check out their website: http://thelabdenver.org ), which provides a great place to work on projects and do classes if desired. The owner of the place is able to provide knowledge and materials and can help if someone is stuck in a project. The costs will vary, but for using the space and materials it will be usually in a range of $10-25 per visit.
You're welcome to bring your own materials and computer to share and work on, but when we meet at "The Lab" there will be a drop in fee to use the space of $10 per visit.

If you're not ready to commit you always can check out the group for free.

If you have kids with different interests and you feel like you don't want to drive around town to drop one at the art centre and the other at the science club (like I do) then don't despair! "The Lab" offers artsy crafty things to do like painting, drawing and sewing. Or play some football table or hang out and read a book on the sofa.

Looking forward to meet many interested nerds, geeks and the like!
