Ready to create a new App or idea that could form the ‘next big service’ for banking?

A ‘hackathon’ is a creative marathon of brainstorming and software creation in which the prototypes of mobile and web applications are quickly ‘hacked’ together by small teams of software engineers, designers and other innovators.

The Royal Bank of Scotland together with the Open Bank Project (https://www.openbankproject.com/) invites you to the first Edinburgh edition of Hack (Make!) The Bank. This free public innovation event will be held from the 9th to 11th of October at the RBS Technology Solutions Center in Edinburgh.

Hack (Make!) the Bank is a global series of Fin Tech Hackathons which are dedicated to realising tomorrow's banking and financial solutions.

Developers won’t have access to real customer data but will instead use the Open Bank Project API ‘sandbox’ (https://openbankproject.com/for-developers/)to simulate access to customer data and banking services as well as other API’s and data sets.
