Toastmasters meeting (24th and Camelback)
Practice impromptu and more formal public speaking in a no drama environment where we have a great mix of seasoned speakers and those just starting out. For more information, please see the Toastmasters International website (https://www.toastmasters.org), if you're able to attend we'd love to have you! We meet in a co-working space called Workuity (2390 E Camelback Road suite 130). The easiest way to get here is to head N at the 24th and Camelback Intersection and take 2 immediate lefts -- the first left will be at a traffic light and the next immediate left will have a "Fennemore Craig" sign right in front of it as well as signs for "2390 E Camelback visitor parking" and Press Coffee underneath. Note: we are in building 2390 (not 2394 where Fennemore Craig is). Also, please do not park in the garage, we can't reimburse you for parking and regardless, it's easier to find our spot from surface parking anyway. If you see other cars parked on the street and you see big 2390 / Workuity signs out front, you're probably in the right place. :) For further questions, please contact Ronjon (club president) by text or email [masked], [masked]) or feel free to just stop by. Please arrive by 6:40 as we start at 6:45 sharp. P.S. While we meet every Monday, we generally do not meet on holidays that land on Mondays (e.g., we did not meet President's Day but did meet Easter Monday which is not a federal holiday). If there's any doubt, please connect with Ronjon using the contact info above (text is usually best at[masked]).

What we're about

More Americans are terrified of public speaking than are afraid of needles and death. (source) (https://www.cnbc.com/2016/10/11/13-ways-to-overcome-your-fear-of-public-speaking-and-win-the-room.html)

In Toastmasters, we can help you overcome your fear and develop into the stellar presenter you always wanted to be! Toastmasters International (https://www.toastmasters.org/) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) dedicated to helping members improve public speaking skills. Toastmasters has a wealth of experience -- originally founded in 1922, Toastmasters is currently active in 141 countries and has roughly 16,500 local clubs (https://www.toastmasters.org/about/who-we-are).

If you're looking to explore what Toastmasters is like, you are most welcome to see our club and see for yourself what Toastmasters is all about!

We meet most Mondays at 6:45 sharp in Workuity at 2390 E Camelback, please plan on arriving around 6:40 if it's your first time attending. There are a number of Toastmasters clubs in Phoenix, all of us are run independently and meet at various times.

Please see attached map for info on how to find our meeting location (it can be somewhat confusing). Any questions please call, text or email Ronjon at 603-801-7252 (cell) or ronjon@kendallstaffing.com.

Please note we generally do not meet on federal holidays unless otherwise posted. We look forward to seeing you soon!
