What we're about
More Americans are terrified of public speaking than are afraid of needles and death. (source) (https://www.cnbc.com/2016/10/11/13-ways-to-overcome-your-fear-of-public-speaking-and-win-the-room.html)
At Scottsdalians Toastmasters, we can help you overcome your fear and develop into the stellar presenter you always wanted to be! Toastmasters International (https://www.toastmasters.org/) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) dedicated to helping members improve public speaking skills. Toastmasters has a wealth of experience -- originally founded in 1922, Toastmasters is currently active in 141 countries and has roughly 16,500 local clubs (https://www.toastmasters.org/about/who-we-are) (of which Scottsdalians has been President's Distinguished for the past few years).
