What we're about

This is a Screen-Acting Workshop for 8 to 12 actors who want to work on audition pieces or monologues … do some scene study … explore their own potential … even do exercises in The Method, Meisner, Adler, Hagen, Practical Aesthetics … whatever …

It is NOT a “beginners acting class” … it is an on-camera, acting workshop for actors with at least some significant experience and/or training in the art of acting for film ...

It will be highly Informal, but supportive and friendly … and almost entirely dependent upon what people bring to it ... attendees should bring their own scripts / scenes / monologues and/or other materials (three script copies minimum) ...

There may also be room for active participation by Directors, Directors of Photography and other Film Professionals ... (ex: Screenwriters who want to have our members perform short scenes from their works-in-progress) ...

One of the goals of this workshop is to develop, in each actor, the roles or characters that most suit them as actors ... develop those characterizations even further ... and potentially develop original work based on the capabilities of those characters ...
