As organizations begin to use Scrum in large scale projects, far too often as they attempt to coordinate the efforts of dozens or hundreds of teams, they don't scale the ability to deliver quickly. One hundred Scrum teams should be able to deliver one hundred times more value than one Scrum team. Yet management overhead can slow that scalability down. Scrum@Scale is a framework that can deliver linear scalability. Using case studies from his forth coming book The Scrum Fieldbook: A Masterclass in Accelerating Performance, Getting Results, and Defining the Future JJ Sutherland shares how companies like Schlumberger, Toyota, and 3M used Scrum@Scale to deliver twice the work in half the time at an enterprise level.

JJ Sutherland is the CEO of Scrum Inc, the leading provider of Scrum training and consulting worldwide. JJ has personally trained thousands of people and helped companies large and small accelerate innovation, quickly adapt, and help them see their own capability to change the world they live in. He is the co-author of Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time.

Before joining Scrum Inc., JJ was an award-winning Correspondent and Producer with NPR. He covered stories from places such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt and the aftermath of the Japanese Tsunami of 2011. He has won Dupont, Peabody, The Edward R Murrow and Lowell Thomas awards for his work.

In his free time, JJ enjoys cooking complicated recipes, traveling to the four corners of the globe, and gaming. He is also the co-host of the video game review podcast Only a Game with Chris Suellentrop.

JJ lives in Washington D.C. with his wife and their two daughters.
