Scrum is more than an awesome framework to create and deliver excellent products. Scrum also serves in helping people become more awesome. A more humane workplace leads to better products. The ability to create excellence engages people.
„Scrum Studio” is a bounded, creative environment where work is delivered through Scrum. Although it is an open concept, the implied promise of the concept resonates with many people. The openness of the concept is an opportunity for practitioners to gather and emerge the definition bottom-up. We will collaboratively work on the concept of a Scrum Software Studio, iterative-incrementally continuing the work that several Scrum Caretakers have already done in a series of Sprints throughout the day. No deadlines, no stress, no pre-empted outcomes. Upon registration, the current state of the work will be shared.
Gunther Verheyen, who initiated the Scrum Caretakers community, will support and facilitate this day of work. He wants to work with Polish Scrum practitioners on his experience and observations on the impact of Scrum on the organization, aka an Agile transformation. Gunther has collected many of his ideas in “re-vers-ify” (https://guntherverheyen.com/2017/09/22/re-vers-ify-re-imagine-your-scrum-to-re-vers-ify-your-organization/), the act of people re-imagining their Scrum to re-emerge their organization.
Gunther believes that the future agility, i.e. adaptiveness, of an organization is in a networked structure of product hubs, where each hub serves as a Scrum Studio. Gunther is looking for enthusiasts to define what a Scrum Studio might entangle. He promised to intervene as little as possible to allow collective intelligence do its beautiful work.
