Instructor Team Meeting
This meeting is for current instructors and instructor candidates as well as anyone interested in learning more about diving and improving personal skills. Topics of discussion range from industry news, safety standards, planed travel and of course, instructor candidate presentations. If you are interested in learning about becoming a NAUI instructor, let us know and you'll be invited to attend a meeting to experience what we are all about.
First aid is providing initial care for an injury or illness. The three key aims of first aid are to (1) preserve life, (2) prevent the condition from worsening and (3) promote recovery.
There are no prerequisites, including scuba certification, for participation in the DFA Pro course.
Anyone who provides surface support for divers and/or serves as first responders to divers and others in and around water will benefit form this course. Familiarity with diving equipment and diving terminology will make understanding the material easier, but interested and informed nondivers should be able to master the material.
Completion of E-learning content is required prior to attending this session.
The DFAPro Student Pak is required for this course.
During this session you will practice skills learned and demonstrate your competency. Upon completion and passing of all assessments you will received a provider card indicating that you have been trained in basic life support (including CPR) and first-aid measures.
