Would you participate in a Guinness Book of World Records attempt at 'longest unbroken diver chain'?

A Guinness Book of World Records attempt at 'longest unbroken diver chain' underwater. The current record seems to be 173 divers. I would need 215+ divers, with good skills, to commit to coming to the Shores and participating in an attempt on this record. This poll is the first feeler to see if there's enough interest. If we get enough votes, then we'll move on to taking your names. Details: Single tank dive of ~25-30 minutes. Maybe less if you all act super-organized. Approx depth of 20-25 fsw. Location: La Jolla Shores, in the area between the southern bathrooms on Valecitos and the main lifeguard tower. Date: TBD, but sometime in September/October time frame on a Saturday or Sunday. When you commit, you'll commit to both the proposed date AND an alternate date (in case of foul conditions). Date is also subject to us getting a rep out to watch and validate the attempt. Are you in??? PS- As long as we're down there, we might also try to set another record or two too!

What areas of Open Water Class should instructors emphasize even more?

Notwithstanding the fact most scuba instructors are honorable and teach all of the Open Water skills mandated by their agency, what skill(s) do you think instructors should emphasize even MORE during their classes?

Would you do a dive trip to wreck(s) at technical depths?

The Cape Charles (here in San Diego) is past 150'. The UB88 Submarine (off Long Beach) is past 180'. The are others. Do you have the necessary skills and training... and would you RSVP "Yes" if I scheduled a charter boat to these wrecks (or similar)?

Where should we dive?

There are many places to dive in San Diego (and SoCal and beyond). Where do you/would you like to go?
