The complex process of exploring and understanding a startup and evaluating the opportunity for investment works best with a little perspective and practice. The Seattle Angel Conference is a first step into the world of Angel Investing. It is a slow motion Angel Investment, where entrepreneurs and people interested in Angel Investing can watch the process and learn more about how it works.

We will open the program with Wade Brooks from Willamette University telling us about the progress they are making in their research on Angel Investing. Then the six finalist companies will each present the pitches they are making to investors. The Due diligence Lead investors will respond in turn, illustrating the issues and questions that are explored in the due diligence process.

Super Angel Geoff Entress and Julie Sandler from Madrona will have a fireside chat about the expectations for companies that progress from a seed investment round onto a Series A investment.

In the end, the Investor LLC will vote and select a finalist to fund.
