Just made a blog post from my metric ton of notes. Here's the URL if anyone's interested in a recap (with occasional commentary and quips) -> http://diaryofanenglishcodemonkey.blogspot.com/2011/05/dear-diary-welcome-to-future.html

Lai Lau's talk made it all worthwhile. She had new insights to offer rather than the old news of market share forecasts.

Great meeting. I loved the panel and the insight they provided. I was hoping to hear some 5-year, 10-year predictions. Instead, everybody played it safe.

Amazing venue, great content. I will be attending often and will enjoy sponsoring again.

A panelist who published App or Mobile content would have been useful. The focus was more on platform vendors and carriers.

Very informative, thoughtful, presenters were all excellent. I loved it.

Not my area of expertise but Pei Zheng was entertaining, and Lai Lau was very clear with her "how-to" of developing mobile apps. All in all enjoyable and the food was good.

    A) Speakers were mostly boring and told me nothing new (except Sony Erickson guy, he was decent). B) Why not include some small mobile dev shops? I like it when you include little guys such as the guy from Buzz Labs in January, a different perspective than the giant companies.

Looks like there has been a confusion with another Meetup http://www.meetup.com/Seattle-Mobile-Innovation-Forum/events/17533440/. I was enrolled for this meetup through the post in that meetup, which I believe is deprecated. I'd really like to go but alas this event is closed now. Can I still get tickets on the doors? Can someone confirm?

    Thanks

Looking forward to the event! I am SURE I will be the one to win the Blackberry Torch. But maybe it might not be my lucky night, so .... if anyone like to improve MY future in mobile computing, I am looking to purchase a AT&T Blackberry 8310. (Unless craigslist proves fruitful over the next few days!).

Conflicts with the Facebook event (by Girl Geek Dinners)... if can't get registered for that one, will check back
