Seajure Meetup

Details
Seajure is back! This is the last Seajure out of Amperity’s old office in Belltown. We will be accreting[1] a new office in SoDo for the March meet ups and beyond. We have a wide sampler of presentations this time across topics: core Clojure, ClojureScript, and even Clojure style.
Applying the re-frame architecture, Chris Kolodin, Amperity
Chris will do a quick overview of the re-frame architecture (app-db, subs, events, components) and a quick live coding of a component that exercises all the pieces.
Code: Style enforced, Greg Look, Amperity
Greg will present his take on making automatic styling happen with cljfmt, and using conformance metrics to enforce your style will on an organization.
Data: Style enforced, Alex Engelberg, Amperity
Clojure 1.9 adds official integration with Clojure spec. Alex shows the tools to systematically eliminate gremlins like type mismatches and Thrift.
Short talks
If you’d like to suggest a short (~ 10 m) talk of your own, please do. We’d like to incorporate more of these going forward.
Amperity is hiring! Check out https://amperity.com/careers/ for our openings.
Come eat pizza, drink beer, and learn.
[1] technically, we are also getting rid of the old office.
