What areas of philosophy are you most interested in?

Lately it's been feminist philosophy, existentialism, phenomenology, and philosophy of mind. I'm also curious about animal studies, including questions about (non-human) animal minds, our ethical position in relation to animals, and whatever else comes up along the way. I'm also pretty interested in psychoanalysis, the history and philosophy of science and medicine, and the history of philosophy itself. I don't take it as a given that humans are "progressing" in any meaningful way, and I love learning about how we got to where we are intellectually speaking.

I'm a poet and essayist, and a soon-to-be grad student in existential phenomenological psychology. Professionally, I'm a nanny and a birth and postpartum doula.
