Would you like and extra $500-$1000 now an then? If you have a bit of extra time and know how to design and follow test plans, let's talk!
I am an Android developer and entrepreneur and have a new app on the market. Being a very small startup, I can't justify a full time test engineer. However, to produce quality software, it is essential to engage a third party - you.
For info about the app, you can try out the current version and read about it on the web:
android store - https://play.google.c...
website - http://perinote.com...
facebook - http://www.facebook.c...
The requirements are simple:
- be reliable and trustworthy
- have experience with Android development or testing
- have experience writing test plans
In a bit more detail, I'm looking for someone to independently test the app before each release. Releases will likely be every 2-4 weeks. The degree of testing will depend on the breadth of the changes in the release. In some cases, the whole product may need testing and in others the scope can be narrowed, though some general testing is always wise.
You will need to use the app, the user guide, and specs provided by me to decide what needs to be tested. I will review the plan and make suggestions, if any, and you will then run the tests. For the most part, you will decide which parts of the overall test plan need to be executed.
You will also have the opportunity to comment on the UX and suggest improvements to the functionality.
Engagement shall be on a contract (i.e. 1099) basis. Pay shall be $35 - $50/hr, depending on experience.
