This is the fully costumed, full-length dress rehearsal for the famous ballet, "Swan Lake." The limited seats are in the balcony, which are normally much more expensive. (There is a promotion now, and they are not charging a service fee for buying tickets online--don't know how long the promotion will last.)
"Swan Lake," set to Tchaikovsky’s gorgeous music, is considered the most beautiful ballet in the world. Here's the description from Pacific Northwest Ballet:
"EVER SINCE KENT STOWELL’S STUNNING NEW PRODUCTION OF SWAN LAKE MARKED THE GRAND OPENING OF MCCAW HALL, audiences have been awestruck by its transcendent beauty and power. This most famous of classical ballets is a tour de force on all levels: Tchaikovsky’s glorious score, spectacular costume and scenic designs, plus a ballerina’s hallmark achievement—the dual role of Odette/Odile. For every age, Swan Lake’s mist-filled rows of exquisite swans hovering protectively around their queen is an ethereal vision that lingers long after leaving the theater..."
HERE'S HOW TO BUY TICKETS:
There are a limited number of seats for this performance, so buy now to avoid disappointment. Tickets also includes admission to the 45-minute talk about the ballet, which begins at 6 pm--this is optional. The performance itself is from 7 to 9:30, and the doors open at 6:30. Seats are first come, first served, so getting to the balcony at the beginning will get you a good seat. We will set a place to meet closer to the date--we'll probably meet before 6:30 by the doors to the balcony.
You can buy tickets online using the link below (Do not use the "set an alternate date" as it will go to a totally different ballet) or call the box office at[masked]
