What we're about

Are you curious about yourself and about life? Are you interested in your true inner nature, and the true nature of reality? This group is for anyone interested in the spiritual journey, which we will look at through the particular lens of the Diamond Approach.

The Diamond Approach is a path of spiritual awakening that has arisen in our times. It addresses the modern seeker's desire to have a full and meaningful life and work while also finding the inner freedom that comes from awakening to being. The modern seeker rarely wants to retire from life to live alone as a monk in a cave. Rather, we love our lives and our world, and we want them to be rich with meaning, beauty, and presence.

In meetups, participants will begin to see how spirituality and psychology interface, how spiritual work leads us to our inner obstacles, and how sincere engagement of inquiry can dissolve barriers to allow authentic experience and expression through essential qualities such as peace, joy, strength, and compassion. The meetings will be facilitated by Anne Hoff, a local Diamond Approach teacher. Meetings will include meditation, discussion, and experiential exercises, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions about inner work, the Diamond Approach, the themes we discuss, and how this material interfaces with your own unique life.

No experience of spiritual work is necessary, only curiosity.

The Doorway In: What Does It Mean to Engage a Spiritual Path?

How do human beings grow and evolve? What is an "inner journey"? Why are many people curious about a spiritual path and fewer follow one? This weekend is an exploration of some of the key junctures in spiritual work and an introduction to the Diamond Approach® teaching of inner realization. Please join us for this online workshop where we will explore what it means to engage a spiritual path. The event is suitable for anyone curious about the Diamond Approach as a path and its particular orientation. Both current students and those new to the Diamond Approach are invited. The questions we will explore are: -What brings us to the threshold of entering on a path? -What are the obstacles that we immediately encounter, and that stop many from going further? -If we proceed and enter on the path, what orientation supports our growth and maturation? -What orients us long term, keeps us on the path, and leads to fruition? The event will include meditation, teachings, experiential exercises, and the opportunity to ask questions about your experience and about the Diamond Approach. $100-$150 sliding scale. (You can request a further discount if your finances have been significantly impacted by COVID-19). Satuday October 17 to Sunday October 18 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM There will be a one-hour lunch break each day. Online through Zoom videoconferencing. You will get the link after you register/pay.
