A Quiet Place
Very well reviewed horror movie, before the season soon turns to explosions in space. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/a_quiet_place_2018 Showtime confirmed for 7:15 PM. The show will have reserved seating. I will buy/post the seat if anyone RSVPs yes for this, but first am waiting to see if anyone wants to go. Will attempt to be in the center of the back section. Buying tickets later could result in being split up but we can always meet afterward if so. I will meet people OUTSIDE near the box office beforehand and we can head in 15+ minutes before for seating (and if there is a line, we will be in it). Afterward we can get some food/drinks (suggestions taken though no guarantees). If you make it later, I will also look for people outside the theater after the movie ends, but if am unlikely to find people in the theater itself. *** Please remember that weekend evenings often times Lincoln Square can get crowded and leave time for finding parking and getting in. If you want to be extra safe tickets are available online ( https://www.cinemark.com/washington/cinemark-lincoln-square ). You can also park at Bellevue Place or at the Bellevue Square Mall.

What we're about

Public Group

A group for both Seattle and Eastside areas for various forms of entertainment, particularly movies, or whatever the hell else we feel like doing.

The group is open to all genres and will be limited mainly by the time and preferences of the members/organizers. Additional possibilities include viewings of favorite shows, private/home events, theatre, games, etc., any relevant tie-ins or or completely irrelevent non-tie-ins that we claim to be relevant or necessary to cosmic equilibrium.

Most events will likely include a show/etc. of some sort and time to talk either before or after (the actual social part of the meetup).

This group is meant to be fun, entertaining and interesting. It may include any number of subjects including those controversial, edgy, or outright absurd. All shows, etc. should be seen with some objectivity and taken for what they are.

The environment is meant to be open and friendly and also a PC and drama free zone. Please don't take yourself too seriously. ;)

Status Note:
This group is still more eastside-oriented but will trying to include more seattle events as possible.
