9 years. I'd say what motivate me keep running are: getting stronger (both in mind and body) and faster.
Ran a 50-miler. Kept running shape. Started strength workout.
Running shorter distance in a faster pace rather than long/ultra distance I had been doing in the past years.
I typically run in the evenings.
My goals for this year are: sub 20 5k and sub 1:30 Half. Training with other runners help me motivated and train better. Camaraderie helps enormously too.
I would like to run with others more often.
