How long have you been running and are there items still on your bucket list that you are motivated to accomplish?

I joined the group in 2011. I didn't really consider myself a runner prior to that. Running buddies motivate me! I think I'd still like to do the Chicago Marathon someday. It may be pushed back later than I imagined because of having a baby and juggling parenting along with everything else! But someday...

How did your 2016 go as far as running? Any highlights that you'd like to share?

I did not run at all in 2016! Well, maybe a little early in the year. I had a baby in July, that was the highlight of my year! Running fell by the wayside.

What is your plan for 2017? Any races on the calendar for you? Do you have any big goals?

1. Start running again! 2. Train for Rock'n'Roll half in June. 3. Lose some baby weight. :D

How many days a week do you typically run? What time of the day do you run?

I'd like to get to the point where I'm running two-three times a week. Maybe twice outside and once on the (dreaded) treadmill. Goal: Saturday mornings with the group, Thursday evenings (once sunset is late enough), one evening a week on a treadmill at the local gym/community center.

How can we best support you and your running goals?

Keep providing friendship and support (and grace for my extended absence as of late!).

Introduction

I signed up for the Rock'n'Roll full marathon in January 2011 and joined this group to keep me motivated. I ended up doing the half instead and got hooked! I have now completed 8 halves and 2 fulls.
