How long have you been running and do you have any bucket list goals you are motivated to accomplish?

I'm grateful for every step I run. Whenever I need motivation I just think about all of my past injuries, all of my friends who can no longer run, and how lucky I am to be healthy enough to run.

How did your 2017 go as far as running? Any highlights that you'd like to share?

2015 was a year of firsts for me. This was the first time I ran 2,000 miles in a year; the first time I ran the Boston Marathon; the first time I ran an ultra marathon, the Chuckanut 50k; the first time I ran a sub-3 hour marathon; and finally, the first time I PR'd in the 10k while running a half marathon (also a PR).

Do you have any running goals for this year? Any races on the calendar for you?

To stay healthy enough to run 2,016 miles. I'm planning to run the Lake Sammamish Half, the Chuckanut 50k, the Boston Marathon, Ragnar Northwest Passage, and the Chicago Marathon.

What’s the best way to get you to show up for one of our group runs?

morning, but sometimes 5:30 am just seems crazy early.

We’d like nothing more than to have you joining us for runs. How can we best support you in helping you get the most out of running?

I'm thinking about running the White River 50 Mile Endurance Run.

Half, full, or ultra, they all sound good to me.
