Seattle Koyasan Buddhist Temple is a small Shingon Japanese Buddhist Temple located in Central District. We practice a guided meditation, led by the temple Priest. We're expanding our sessions and welcome anyone interested in practicing Buddhist meditation.
Our temple is located at 1518 S. Washington St, Seattle WA 98144. We perform weekly services on Sunday, and a Goma Fire Ritual on the last Sunday of every month. There's some more information on our website - seattlekoyasan.com
You can practice guided meditations called Moon Meditation and/or Ah-breathing Meditation originally from Mt. Koya, a Japanese Vajrayana Buddhist mountain that has the history of 1200 years, under the guidance of Dharma Master Taijo from the mountain. Always a tea break follows a session where you can deliver questions about meditations or any topics in your mind.
