What we're about

Purpose: We exist to invent and enliven a new form of organizing by pondering, practicing, playing, and pouncing together. Our monthly confabs provide a structured way to continuously kick-up your Liberating Structures knowledge, skills, and confidence.

Each User Group Event features a variety of LS methods that follow a consistent pattern of:

• Getting to know the network

• Giving-and-receiving help

• Trying something new from the repertoire

We welcome New Users immediately in our gatherings.

Liberating Structures User Group

Online event

The Liberating Structures (LS) User Group exists to invent a new way to organize by playing, practicing, pondering, and pouncing together. LS are simple rules that make it possible to include and engage every voice in shaping the future. For many people, the User Group is their first experience with Liberating Structures.

The LS repertoire consists of 33 practical and seriously fun methods versatile enough for anyone to use for a wide array of activities and challenges.

We often have pre-identified themes and user group design co-leads. The meeting has three elements: reconnecting; giving and getting help; and, trying something new. For each element, we put specific LS activities into play. Many of the combinations or strings of LS can be used after the meeting in your local setting.
