What we’re about
Calling all makers! We're a membership-based makerspace in Interbay and we're hosting meetups for makers who love to, well, make things!
Our meetups are for tech nerds who want to talk shop, hobbyists who want to build that idea that's been keeping them up at night, cosplay enthusiasts who want to stitch their dreams into existence, and anyone who loves to DIY.
We'll be hosting events around holiday themes, specific types of technology or materials, and much more. Come make in a fun and easy-going environment where failure is embraced and exploration is the norm.
The Maker Meetup is a vibrant monthly gathering where Seattle Makers tinkerers, crafters, inventors, and artisans come together to socialize, share, and inspire. Join us this month for a Halloween Costume Party at the makerspace!
Come show off your most creative, funniest, and scariest costume creations and mingle with fellow makers in a night of fun, creativity, and Halloween spirit. We’ll have spooky snacks, creepy crafts, and haunting tunes to set the mood!
If you don't have a costume this year, but would still like to join in on the fun, feel free to pick from the ✨Costume Cupboard✨! The cupboard has lots of quick and easy costumes like witch hats and monster masks to borrow for the night.
Have a costume idea but need some support getting it ready for the big night? Or maybe you just love crafting with friends? Join us for one or all of our Costume Making Sessions on Oct 16, 23, and 29.
Interested to see what Seattle Makers is all about? Non-members are welcome, too!
No cost to attend. Suggested donation is $10 for non-members.
