Building a SIP Building - Part 2

Part 2 of a great class!

This hands-on class will help you understand the advantages of Structural Insulated Panels as well as learn tips and construction methods that requires common tools. We will be working on an actual SIP building. You will receive handouts for later use. Bring a sack lunch.

Structural Insulated Panels are panels of inert styrofoam compressed between two layers of strandbaord. These amazing panels are very flexible during seismic activity and can result in a super-insulated structures.

Brian has been in construction for decades. He and Marilene designed and built their own house. Brian was the general contractor on the job and he really knows his stuff. He is a co-founder of SongCroft School and has taught many classes.
