What we’re about
The Seattle Rust User Group is a gathering of friendly folks from the greater Seattle area interested in the Rust programming language. From low-level to high-level, beginner to expert, everyone is here to have fun and talk Rust. Typically, we meet once a month and host presentations, collaborate on personal projects and learn new techniques from one another.
We're always looking. Lightning talks and other short talks can be done every meetup. We're currently looking for speakers for upcoming meetups. All skill levels welcome!
You can also find us on Github.
Please review the Rust community's Code of Conduct before coming to the meetup. Let's make this meetup great for everyone!

October Meeting Agenda:
* Introductions
* General Announcements
* Presentations: TBD
* Conversations: TBD- If are working on a project large or small in Rust, you are invited to introduce your topic to the group as a ~5-minute "lightning talk". No slides required, just share what you are thinking about building.
I am hoping to have 3-4 projects to introduce each month from our membership. After introducing your project to the group, the meeting will break into smaller groups, where members self-select the project of interest to them (whether to learn, to contribute or both) and work together as a group, roughly in the style of Mob Programming.
Please contact the organizers of this meetup if you are working on any Rust-related project that you feel could be a good candidate for this format, or if you have any questions or feedback.
Please RSVP, and I hope to see you in October!
