“Where the Mountains meet the Sea”
Kitsap County has the second longest coastline in Washington State and is surrounded by some of the most spectacular marine environments on the planet. Kitsap is a destination for paddlers around the globe because of its unique marine environments, natural scenic beauty, migrating marine mammal populations, and friendly ports and towns steeped in tradition.
Join Washington Water Trails and John Kuntz, owner of Olympic Outdoor Center, for a fun and informal presentation on this unique area. John will discuss the trails inception to national status, as well as a history of the creation of the trail, its inclusion in the Cascadia Marine Trail system, highlights of paddling the trail, and what it means for the future of paddlesports in Washington state.
